New Life

I have started a new life, well actually, it started last week. I was working at JcPenney in Pine Bluff, but I was forced into quiting by the store manager, who in my opinion was nothing more than a bigoted black woman on a power trip. She hated me from the first day she set foot in the store, at the time I was a supervisor over the replenishment team, we were responsible for receiving and putting out all the merchandise that the store received. My position soon came to an end after she took over the store, she found all sorts of reasons to either degrade or write me up for not doing my job, which was being done very well, by looking at the crew I had, I was stuck with the lazy, not coming to work type of crew, so I had to carry the weight of a team of 6 almost entirely by myself. She finally took my position and gave it back to the person who had quit several months prior and I was given the choice of staying on the team or going back to the floor, I opted to stay on the team, because it meant more money. I have a condition called Fibromyalga, which means I am in constant pain. Well, I was frequently sick because of it and I had to miss a lot of work, well needless to say that made the store manager very unhappy. Plus, at this time I also have a second job, working for another former supervisor from the store, who happens to be co owner of a restaurant. The store manager decided that I wasn't what she wanted on the replenishment team anymore, and decided that she was going to move me to sales support, which meant I had to work on Saturdays, well I told her that I had another job and that I couldn't work on Saturdays, she told me that I guess you need to make a call. She decided that I was to chose JcPenney over another job that I was already committed to. The attitude that I always received from this woman was crazy, she acted like a 2 year old when it came down to most things, I was sooooo relieved when I quit that job that words can not describe the feeling I have. The best part about this change is that I get to spend more time with my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!
